I sugest that all of us list our families , father, grandfather, great grandfather, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother then children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. This way we can start connecting with relatives and work our way back. What do you think?

That fine with me....

I made a discussion area for posting information like that, for registered users... This should keep the scan bots from grabbing all the info and reposting... It takes a little work to format and get it working correctly.

But you can post things and fix later... it took me like an hour to get mine straight... but it has like 8 generations... or so... Starting in 1850 and going till now.. it includes 356 individuals..

I didnt run across any Gilbert Rosson's in my Database
but i did a quick search on ancestry.com and found 3 listed in the SSDI

If you can provide a little more detail i can help. such as Where or when he was born or died...

Hello,

My Rosson connection is fairly far back in the genealogy...

My Great-Great-Grandmother was Louisa Virginia ROSSON, born 1823 in Madison or Culpeper County, Virginia, a daughter of Benjamin ROSSON and Sarah Ann COLLINS.
She married James David DULANEY, with whom she had ten children. She and the children moved to Ritchie County, West Virginia after her husband's death in 1867.
